IFRS Technical Accounting Update

Just when you thought the International Financial Reporting Standards (“IFRS”) transition was over, a new group of standards needs to be applied starting in 2013.
Starting with some lessons learned from the first year of Canadian IFRS reporting, we will review the requirements of the new standards to be applied next year including IFRS 10, Consolidated Financial Statements; IFRS 11, Joint Arrangements; IFRS 12, Disclosure of Interests in Other Entities and IFRS 13, Fair Value Measurements. We will conclude with an update on other significant ongoing IASB standards development projects including Financial Instruments, Revenue and Leases.
