How to Give and Receive Effective Feedback

Whether you’re dealing with your employees, your boss, or delivering news to a client, understanding emotions and having a process to conduct difficult conversations is an essential skill. This seminar will focus on not only developing emotional intelligence (EI), but how to then use it when giving and receiving feedback. You will learn what EI is and how it fits in to the accounting landscape; an overview of the four features, four qualities, and seven types of emotions; how you can use EI to enhance your leadership style and improve how you interact with others; and the Straight Talk Model for having difficult conversations – how to use it, when to use it, how to react when it is used on you and where emotional intelligence fits in.
