Managing risk in private companies – It’s easier than you think

Private companies begin with a good idea and grow through hard work. History proves that a key to success is developing a pragmatic and straight-forward approach to managing risks. In a private company context the effectiveness of a risk management program is gauged against the needs of the owner. This means complex frameworks and criteria can be abandoned for an approach that leverages personal and specific knowledge of the businesses success factors.  This short course engages the participants in a discussion of critical risks and introduces certain methodologies for managing risk in the private company context.
