The Art & Science of Strategic Planning: Preparing for a Strategic Planning Session

Brief overview of lesson plan and learning activities: At least 50% of the “work” involved in strategic planning relates to getting the group “ready” to do planning. This includes getting mentally prepared and addresses group dynamics.
Developing trust, engaging in healthy conflict, securing commitment and becoming accountable are all key elements to preparing for the planning process.
Preferred theme: Leadership and Group Dynamics
This session is the first in the series of two relating to The Art & Science of Strategic Planning. Please note: participants do not need to sit in on this session to attend the next one, Leading a Strategic Planning Session, as summary note will be provided.
