Lee-Anne Ragan, President
Rock.Paper.Scissors Inc.
With over 20 years experience in making training contributions to socially responsible corporations and not-for-for profit organizations, Lee-Anne Ragan has much to offer. Having a busy schedule, she currently holds three positions. As President and Director of Training at ‘Rock.Paper.Scissors Inc.’ since 1999, she helps build business success through managing a diverse clientele. She is also the Principal and Founder of both ‘Community Works’ since 1998 and ‘Laughing Matters’ since 2002, where she provides strategic direction and training services in communications, teambuilding, strategic planning and more for the not-for-profit and corporate sectors.
Lee-Anne’s contributions have been well recognized over the years. She has been a Finalist for the Douglas College Entrepreneur of the Year Award, Burnaby Board of Trade Business Excellence, Entrepreneurial Spirit Award and the Power of Peace Award, International Category. She has also been recognized by Business in Vancouver’s top 40 under 40.
She also manages to give back to the community through various volunteer positions. She was Chair of the Board of Development Committee for Vancouver Community College, as well as a former board member of the Affiliation of Multicultural Societies and Service Agencies, the Vancouver Folk Music Festival, as well as a former Youth Research Review Advisory Committee member for the BC Crime Prevention Association. She currently volunteers her time as a YOUCAN expert Advisor on cross-cultural conflict resolution.
Lee-Anne received her Bachelor’s of Social Work, specializing in Community Development at the University of British Columbia, later completing a Masters of Education, specializing in Cross-Cultural Conflict Resolution at Simon Fraser University.
Lee-Anne’s mission, whether working with the United Nations or a corporate or not for profit company closer to home, is to help people learn, laugh and lead.
